Montebello Organic Torchiette Pasta is a twisted, bell-shaped Italian pasta, or "little torches," made from organic durum wheat semolina and pure spring water. The cut comes from the Campania region of Italy.
The wheat is grown organically on a small cooperative of family farms in the hills overlooking the Adriatic Sea. Torchiette goes well with tomato-based and cream-based sauces or with pesto.
Montebello takes its name from the Monastery of Montebello in northern Italy, first built in 1388.
