Oliver Pluff & Co. Teas of the Boston Tea Party centers on Colonial Bohea (pronounced "Boo-hee"), by far the largest tea import of colonial times.

Sometimes called Bohea Souchong or Lapsang Bohea, the blend began in China, traded to the British and Dutch East India Companies, and was so popular that "bohea" became slang for tea. It was made of broken orange pekoe, pekoe and souchong, sifted from a pile. That was typically the scrap tea of lower-quality leaves, though the colonists considered it high quality.
