Ecover Automatic Dishwashing Powder is a phosphate-free dishwasher detergent made with renewable plant-based and mineral ingredients. It is made to help clear dried-on food and tough stains, is not tested on animals and is safe for septic tanks.
Scent options are Citrus, with a plant-based fragrance, and Zero, which is fragrance free. Both are also offered as 25-count tablets.
For the powder, remove large food scraps first and fill the main cup for each wash cycle. In hard-water areas, fill the open cup as well. Check the rinse aid regularly, and run the machine as its own instructions say.
Ecover has been working on plant-based cleaners for over 30 years.
