Ethique Bow Wow Bar is a solid shampoo bar for dogs (and horses), so there are no bottles or lids to handle at bath time. It is made with neem, oatmeal and coconut oil, plus a little lavender oil, and is meant to leave fur clean, soft and sweet-smelling.
The bar is pH neutral for dogs, which is a higher pH than Ethique's shampoos made for people. Use lukewarm water, since dogs don't enjoy hot baths as much as people do.
Because cats are sensitive to essential oils, Ethique does not recommend Bow Wow for washing a cat. For a dog with sensitive skin, try Ethique's Shampooch instead.
