Boylan Bottling Co. Cane Sugar Sodas are craft sodas in five flavors: creamy red birch beer, original birch beer, black cherry, creme soda and ginger ale.
Boylan started in 1891, when pharmacist William Boylan made a birch-tree elixir in his apothecary in Paterson, New Jersey and sold it by the cup from a barrel on the back of a wagon. The brand became known for its long-neck embossed glass bottles.
Creamy Red Birch Beer: vanilla makes it creamier and slightly smoother than the original
Original Birch Beer: minty and sharp, with strong notes of sweet birch and wintergreen oil
Black Cherry: cherries, wild cherry bark and bourbon vanilla extract; sweet and tart
Creme Soda: hints of vanilla extract, coffee and chocolate
Ginger Ale: a classic pale ginger ale with a clean taste, smoother than a traditional ginger beer
