Mrs. Meyer's Clean Day Concentrated Laundry Detergent is a biodegradable, cruelty-free laundry detergent that makes 64 loads per bottle. It is HE compatible, so it works in high-efficiency and conventional washing machines. It contains plant-derived surfactants, stain-fighting enzymes and essential oils, and comes in Basil, Baby Blossom, Lavender and Lemon Verbena.
For an ordinary load, add 1/2 capful. For an extra-large or very dirty load, use 3/4 capful. Use hot water for whites, colorfast pastels and light prints, warm water for permanent press and jeans, and cold water for bright colors and fabrics that tend to fade.
To treat a stain, dab detergent on it while it is still fresh, let it sit for 3 to 10 minutes, then wash as directed. For stubborn stains, reapply the liquid before the garment dries and wash again. Test for colorfastness on an inside seam first.
Caution: eye irritant. Avoid eye contact and keep out of reach of children and pets. If it gets in eyes, flush with water for 15 minutes. If swallowed, drink a glassful of water. Consult a physician if irritation persists.
