ECOS Ice Melt is a mineral-based ice melt for sidewalks, driveways and paths. It is made without the harsh chemicals used in traditional ice melts, and it is gentle on pets' paws. It melts ice and snow, and it can be applied ahead of time to prevent ice from forming.

Remove loose snow and ice first, then sprinkle walks and driveways evenly with 1/4 to 1/2 cup per square yard and shovel off the resulting slush. Thick ice may need more than one application. Applying before snow or ice starts to form helps keep ice from bonding to the surface.
