The P.F. Candle Co. Large Scented Soy Wax Candle is a 12.5 oz hand-poured soy candle in an apothecary-inspired amber jar with a kraft label and a brass lid. It burns for 60 to 70 hours, and the jar measures 3.6 in. across and 3.75 in. tall.
It is the larger of the brand's candles, made for big rooms, spaces with high ceilings and anyone who wants a longer burn time. It comes in four scents: Teakwood & Tobacco, Sandalwood Rose, Golden Coast and Amber & Moss. The line's original scent is leather, teak and orange.
P.F. scents are meant to enhance a room rather than overpower it. For a stronger scent, pair the candle with incense, a linen or room spray, or a reed diffuser.
Candle care
Trim the wick to 1/4 in. before each lighting, or once the candle has cooled. Never trim a burning candle.
Throw away the snipped piece; never leave wick trimmings in the jar.
Keep the wick centered and away from the sides of the jar.
Let the wax melt to the edges of the jar on each burn to prevent tunneling.
When the candle is finished, wash out the jar and reuse it as a planter or pencil holder.
Safety
Never leave a burning candle unattended, near a draft, or within reach of children or pets.
Do not burn it for more than 4 hours at a time.
Do not let the wick curl over, which can make the flame larger than normal.
Stop burning when 1/4 in. of wax remains.
Do not pick up a burning candle, or one that has just been blown out.
Protect the surface underneath the candle, whatever the material.
