King Arthur Organic Masa Harina is a 2-pound bag of masa harina made from organic white corn that is grown and milled in the USA. The corn goes through traditional nixtamalization: it is dried, soaked in lime water, then finely ground.
Use it for corn tortillas, tamales, empanadas and pupusas. The bag includes directions for 16 medium (5-inch) tortillas. It also works as a breading, or stirred into chili to thicken it and add a subtle corn flavor. The bag reseals, so you can measure out what you need and keep the rest.
