The matcha leaves are then dried and ground into a fine green tea powder, which is then mixed with water to create an earthy tea.

Instructions: Add 1 teaspoon matcha powder to 2.5 oz. hot water. Whisk the matcha using a bamboo whisk or other utensil until a rich foam forms on top. Add milk or sweetener if desired.
