Brooklyn Slate Company Slate Cheese Board — 10 x 14 in

The Brooklyn Slate Company Slate Cheese Board is a 10 x 14 inch natural-edge serving board cut from slate sourced at the company's family quarry in upstate New York. This is the size for plating several cheeses at once.

Each board is split by hand with a chisel and hammer, so the cut, shape and color vary slightly from one board to the next. Every board Brooklyn Slate cuts is at least 3/8 inch thick. The one in the photos is black.

It comes with a burlap bag, a stick of soapstone chalk for writing cheese names right on the slate, and anti-slip padded feet for the underside. Use it for a cheese course, a holiday grazing spread or hors d'oeuvres.
