Still Artesian Water

It has a naturally high alkalinity, with a pH that stays between 7.8 and 8.2, and a lower mineral content that gives it a softer, sweeter taste. Because it is natural, the alkalinity varies a little.

Snow melt and rainwater travel more than 200 km through volcanic rock and sandstone to reach the aquifer, which is about 50,000 years old. The water rises 680 feet to the surface under its own pressure, with no mechanical pumps.
