This Privacy Policy explains how FamilyStore.io LLC ("FamilyStore.io," "we," "us") collects, uses, and discloses personal information when you visit familystore.io, use our mobile app, or buy from us, and the choices you have.

  • We collect the information needed to take and deliver your orders, run the store, and market our products.
  • We process personal information for targeted advertising. Our site uses advertising pixels from Meta (Facebook and Instagram), Google, and Pinterest. These pixels share information about your visit with those companies so they can show you ads. Under some state laws, this may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. You can opt out as described below.
  • We do not sell your name, email address, or order history to data brokers.

Information we collect

  • Identifiers and contact details: name, email address, phone number, and billing and shipping addresses.
  • Order information: products purchased, order amounts, and order history. Payments are processed by our payment providers; we do not store full card numbers.
  • Account information: login details and preferences, if you create an account.
  • Device and browsing information: IP address, browser and device type, pages and products viewed, search terms, referring pages, and cookie and pixel identifiers.
  • Communications: messages you send us and your marketing preferences.
  • Mobile app information: if you use our app, information about your use of the app and device identifiers.

Where we get it

Directly from you; automatically through cookies, pixels, and similar technologies when you use our site or app; and from sales channels you use to shop with us, such as Facebook and Instagram shops, Google, Pinterest, TikTok, and the Shop app.

How we use it

  • To process, ship, and support your orders, including returns and refunds.
  • To communicate with you about your orders and requests.
  • To send marketing messages if you have agreed to receive them. You can unsubscribe at any time.
  • To show you advertising on other websites and apps (targeted advertising), and to measure ads.
  • To operate, analyze, secure, and improve the site, and to prevent fraud.
  • To comply with law and protect our rights.

Who we share it with

We share or may share personal information with the following categories of recipients:

  • Service providers that run our store: Shopify (e-commerce platform), our payment processors, shipping carriers and fulfillment partners, and the Vajro mobile-app platform. These providers use the information to provide services to us.
  • Advertising and analytics partners: Meta Platforms (Facebook, Instagram), Google (including Google Ads and Google Analytics), and Pinterest, through pixels on our site; and TikTok, Pinterest, Google, Meta, and Shop, where you shop through their sales channels. These companies may use the information for their own purposes as described in their privacy policies.
  • Legal and safety: authorities or others where required by law, or to protect rights, safety, and property.
  • Business transfers: a buyer or successor if our business is sold or reorganized.

Third parties, including the advertising partners above, may collect information about your online activities over time and across different websites and apps when you use our site.

Your choices and how to opt out

  • Opt out of targeted advertising and "sale"/"sharing": email info@familystore.io with the subject "Privacy opt-out." You can also limit ad tracking with your browser's cookie settings, through Meta, Google, and Pinterest ad settings, and at optout.aboutads.info.
  • Marketing email: use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.
  • Do Not Track: our site does not currently respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of targeted advertising and sale/sharing for that browser. You can also use the “Your privacy choices” link in our site footer.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, receive a portable copy, and opt out of targeted advertising, sale, or certain profiling. To make a request, email info@familystore.io. We will verify your request using information associated with your order or account, and respond within 45 days (extendable where the law allows). You may use an authorized agent where the law allows. If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision with the subject "Privacy appeal." If you remain unsatisfied, you may contact your state Attorney General. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

Health-related products

We sell some health, wellness, and personal-care products. We do not ask you for health information. Information about the products you view or buy on our site, which may include health or wellness products, may be collected by the advertising pixels described above. You can opt out as described in “Your choices.”

Children

Our site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact us and we will delete it.

Retention

We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide our services, keep business and tax records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations, and then delete it or de-identify it.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Mobile app

This policy also covers our mobile app. To delete your account and associated data, email info@familystore.io from the email address on your account.

Changes

We will post any changes here and update the date above. If changes are material, we will provide additional notice, such as a notice on the site.
